At the very heart of Islam is the belief in One God — Allah — the Creator of the universe.
The entire faith is summed up in a simple declaration, which states: “There is no god but God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God.”
Muslim scholars identify six key articles of faith: belief in One God, belief in the angels, belief in the divine scriptures, belief in all the prophets and messengers, belief in the Day of Judgement, and belief in God’s will or predestination.
Muslims believe in all the prophets and messengers, including Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Solomon and Jesus, concluding with Muhammad.
